The Randolph County Long-Term Tornado Recovery Team (RCLTRT) invites all local organizations including businesses, churches and non-profits in Randolph County and the surrounding areas to attend the upcoming case presentations for those impacted by the March 14, 2024 tornado.
The next session will be conducted on Thursday, October 17 at 4 PM at the RCU Board Room at 100 S. Main St. Winchester, IN 47394.
Entry is limited to organization representatives interested in contributing resources to aid in recovery. These meetings are not open to the public.
Case managers will present anonymous clients’ fully vetted financial needs and the list of specific resources required to move forward with their recovery plan. This process allows attending representatives an opportunity to pledge resources for that client’s case. Such resources could be small-to-large cash donations for building materials; an offer for discounted materials; or even a donation of contract services. These donations lower the financial burden on the Rebuilding Randolph Tornado Relief Fund, allowing the Fund to be stretched to help as many clients as possible.
Members of the public interested in contributing to the recovery effort can donate online at www.randolphcountyfoundation.org or send a donation to the Community Foundation of Randolph County (memo: Relief Fund) at 120 W. Washington St. Winchester, IN 47394
